TITUS 2- WOMEN
We are so excited about what the Lord is doing here at Long Creek.
As many of you all may know I found out about organic meetings occurring with of some of our ladies in their homes late last year and spoke of these meetings in a sermon back in November.
The ladies begin meeting as small groups of mothers with special needs kids and grew into something much larger.
Myself and others encouraged these ladies to formalize this ministry in order to receive proper funding and overall church support.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that as of 19 January 2025 this ministry has been approved and fully funded for 2025 under the name Titus 2 Women “Rooted In Faith”.
This ministry is specifically targeted towards a certain group but is not exclusive and all women are encouraged to seek ways to participate. Please see below target audience and attached document for a larger overview of the ministry:
Targeted Population or Service Need This ministry is designed for:
• Mothers of school-age children and younger,
• Mothers of children in transitions who also need support (college, boarding school adoption etc.)
• Wives in newer marriages or those navigating significant transitions.
• Mothers of children with disabilities or other unique challenges.
• Moms balancing careers, homemaking, and spiritual growth.
• Single and divorced moms with children desiring to live holy and Godly lives
It is a great time to be a part of God’s family as Long Creek. We are blessed with amazing people with many varying gifts from the Lord who desire to use their talents in serving the Lord and his people at Long Creek. I pray that all of our ladies will find a way to be part of this awesome new ministry.
